A couple weeks ago, my boyfriend was messaging me and told me his mum had just got a dachshund. After spending most of my life with them, growing up with them, and having 4 in my life I officially melted. One of my favourite breeds as Dachshunds are extremely loyal, patient dogs and make such gorgeous models. In a world so big, these small dogs can make anything look superb. What is there not to love? Louie was 10 months old at the time of these images and he was extremely vocal throughout the shoot. Barking at every single dog that went by, he just wants to say hi, but he wasn’t stopping until the dogs were out of site! Small dog, mighty bark! That’s for sure. But sometimes catching them off guard really can make the images the most natural and beautiful. I love getting them natural, not looking at me, especially when dogs aren’t trained certain commands. It adds to the challenge and I love a challenge!
